The Green Crescent Trail is a current and proposed network of walking and biking paths in the Clemson-Central-Pendleton area.
The idea for the network began with a class at Clemson University, and in 2014 a group of local residents decided to make the idea a reality.
Formed in 2015, the Friends of the Green Crescent is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded and run by a group of enthusiastic local community volunteers:

MISSION
The Friends of the Green Crescent aspires to make the Clemson-Central-Pendleton area a better place to live, work, learn, & play by connecting the places we love with a safe & easily-accessible network of trails and public/alternative transportation options.
VISION
Green Crescent Trails and the Clemson-Central-Pendleton area will be recognized as a national model for connectivity and alternative transportation through a 30+ mile network of trails, greenways, complete streets, and public transportation.
